Thia is most likely a result of a slow or busy server. I've had the same preoblem with Geo and tripod. But once I put my site on my own server the problem was fixed.

BTW...I didn't see the white...

When small fonts are necessary you can also ue pixel fonts:

I've found it's best to save web graphics from Image Ready as opposed to PS Save for web.

Are you changing the color mode to CMYK palette?
