Re: Does there exist a feature list or manual?

The 1785, the latest build, has some help built-in and leads to more. The Linux version of the program is a cut-down version of the Windows one, but still has most of the important drawing features....

    Re: xtreme won't load

I have no trouble with the package for XaraLX from the download site:

    http://www.xaraxtreme.org/download/

The 1785 build works fine with 32-bit Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10 and Feisty 7.04.

I've never found a workaround... I use the Windows version, 3.02, in VMware Server under Ubuntu 7.10 as my work flow.

    One of these days...

Re: Can't paste text from other programs.

This feature hasn't been implemented yet. It's been this way from the beginning of the Linux version... sorry about that.

The 1780 build is dead stable on my systems, three. I use heavy graphics and all is fine.

Using the auto package the older version is removed before the new one is installed, all part of the package script.

    Re: Xaralx progress!

There are two programmers working on XaraLX, one porting to Cairo, another improving the existing code.

Nothing has been placed on the download website since 31 January.
