Sorry I didnt see your post before - I tried the PNG thing and that didnt work either! It appeared in the same way as the PS image - teeny tiny!

Thanks for latest suggestions - I looked at the canvas size and realised I could increase the image size too, which I did - to a whopping 181MB!

Thats a good starter for 10, Bob. I wasnt very happy with my pen tool effort, but I'll give the live trace option a go.
