I like the rubbish one, Gare. Says it all. Covers a lot of things in life at the moment.

    Vickers Type559

An update on an old one. The Vickers type559 was an interesting design. Two jet motors located vertically one on top of the other and a small rocket motor on each side of the fuselage. Was to fly...

    Re: Supermarine Seafang

Thanks all for having a look. The Supermarine line of Spitfire type aircraft just seemed to get it right. They look as good today as they did then.

    Supermarine Seafang

First flown 1946, Griffon powered with contra rotating props, designed for carrier use. Only a few were built as it was the start of the jet age. This is some old work.

    Miles M20

Built as an emergency fighter in 1940, the Miles M20 was cheap and quick to build, made from wood, just in case the Spitfire and Hurricane factories were destroyed. Never required, so it never went...

    Re: One Old, One New

Gary, the Blackbird was an awesome looking plane. When you think it was designed and built in the 60's. Makes you wonder what's on the drawing boards now.

    One Old, One New

Two drawings, one updated I did almost 20 years ago of a Blackbird. I used a photo of the plane as a reference for that one, something I haven't done for many years now for obvious reasons. The...

    Re: Armstrong Whitworth X-Plane

Hi Joe, I get most info off web. I look for a 3 view drawing of what it might have looked like and go from there. You can get the general layout of the aircraft from other aircraft of the same time...

    Armstrong Whitworth X-Plane

The Armstrong Whitworth AW-49 was a concept that didn't reach fruition. Nevertheless it was an interesting design.A couple of illustrations of what the plane would have looked like.
