As a test, I installed the old trial version of Illustrator 8.
Windows 7 asked a couple questions, and then it installed
and ran perfectly. It looks like MS may have got it right
this time.

You did try a new shortcut didn't you?

For example, a 3d cube that can be rotated and scaled.
Once 'set' the object would be translated to a set of vector lines
or shapes.

I noticed a blue tint in a gradient with no blue in it. The blue area is 20% black.
Is this a color error or just the way our eyes work?

I used the ai demo, except that I selected Document Info on the File menu,
and on the Document window that comes up selected Spot Color Objects.

Note that you do this without selecting anything,...

The other Black is the line color on the background word TEAM.

Ok. Thanks, but sometimes a CMYK color creeps into the export,
when what I want is RGB only. It would help if Xara had a way
to list color references used in an image the way Illlustrator does.

Sometimes an exported eps (AI8) will have both RGB and CMYK colors.
How can I make sure there are no CMYK colors before export
or do I have to use the Color Picker over every object?
