Superb! That top actually looks juicy.
Even caps have urges ...
It's everything you dreamt about ... but gawd knows what it's supposed to taste like.
You mean Watson was talking to himself all this time?????
Thank you, sledger.
Fantastic stuff!
aridzone - Could you post your .xar file for this dissolve, please?
It's 9:21AM and I've just had the first laugh of the day - super! :)
When you drag and drop a photograph onto the layer, does it replace the image on several layers? If so it could be that you need to hold down the CTRL key whilst placing the photograph onto the...
I have found a script from this website which can be used within Xara's placeholder position. You'll need to download this javascript and place it into the same folder as the html file along with...
Fair enough. I made the assumption that a custom link colour was required for one link on one page and common web standard colours for other pages.
- In the web properties select 'Use common website link colours';
- Click the 'Website' tab;
- Select the 'Mouse Off Colour' as custom and choose the colour for mouse off;
- Select the Mouse Over...
Here's yet another link to javascript which can handle objects such as text, pictures and div's.
I guess the next stage is to work out how the code can be placed into Xara's web properties...
I've found two web pages which deal with moveable layers here and here. Both well worked examples and source code.
Thanks cursor. I have seen and been through the tweaks but it's not quite what I wanted. There is an post here which you participated in and provided 2 solutions. Unfortunately neither are exactly...
It's soft grouping and ultimately down to the order of the stack in both the MouseOff and MouseOver layers. What I found confusing was that in your popup_layers.xar file, the first item in the stack...

popup_layers - amended 1.xar
I've made an amendment to your terse version and I'm feeling a bit stumped. In the MouseOver layer I've removed the web properties link to each photo layer...
I like terse better ;) I shall use this as a template from now on - thank you.
Get on the case then ... ;) joking aside, it's a mighty fine bit of programming code all the same - thank you.
OK, thanks. Why does it have to be a pop-up layer? Why not any layer? Is it something specific in the HTML/Javascript?
Can I ask how to implement the draggable layer? I placed the tweak onto a new page and hit the export button but I didn't see the "Drag Area" layer appear! So then I created a new layer and copied...
gwpriester: BL-ACK??? Oh erm, ....
In the end I settled for the attached setup. I didn't use the lockable layer tweak this time but I have nearly achieved what I intended bar having the smaller...
That is super! Thank you for the links chaps, I'll have a go at this today :thx
PS The pink is a tad garish but that is because I tend use any old colours when trying things out so that I don't...
Yes, I should have thought about that :o
Is there a way of altering the behaviour of pop-up layers so that they remain visable until another mouseover/pop-up layer is triggered?
I'd like to show a series of photographs in a rectangle...
