    Re: Printing

Why have you got XPG set to Letter Peter? Why not set the template to A4. Letter is only a Stateside paper size AFAIK.
  2. Re: Xara Designer Pro+ Update 21.2.0.62177

Agreed ;) And why is the webp image being reported at such a big file size?
  3. Re: Xara Designer Pro+ Update 21.2.0.62177

I attach a link to an image I downloaded from Unsplash.

If I import it to XaraPro+ then save it as first an 80% jpg (jpg.jpg) it reports a size of 144Kb
    If I export it as a webp @ 80% (webp.webp)...
  4. Re: Xara Designer Pro+ Update 21.2.0.62177

Good, but somewhat confused. I experimented importing various webp files. some import fine but others raise a box stating this image would be better converted to jpg.... Why?

    Re: Contact Form

I love that quote. However Xara is a a WYSIWYG editor, so all you need to do is create a place holder in your car and you can add whatever seat your heart desires. Or any form for that matter.

Re: How do you change text shadow color?

Or Drag/Select from the colour bar over the shadow or select the Shadow group for the text area within the Page and Layer Gallery then select the shadow and change.
  7. Re: Not seeing altrnative browsers in Web Desiger 18

@ Rob The F6 doesn't work for me ??? I find the "click in the url which will highlight it, then drag it into your other browsers top bar to open it as a tab" just as complicated.

    Indeed, a very clean font.
  9. Re: Not seeing altrnative browsers in Web Desiger 18

Perhaps this may help. I'm sure Acorn, Gary or Siran could do a better job.

    Re: Scribble May 2021

No no no Joe. It's not about your drawing skills, it's about what you see and yours is a great example, you saw the shape and your mind went 'ding' it's a cowboys hat. That's the fun of the scibble :)

Re: Controlling morphs in AVI animation

I agree with HD. Xara can't do morthing. At it's best you could name a shape and get it to morth from size, width, height, rotation and transparency but you couldn't change it's basic shape. This is...

  17. Re: Problems with website rendering on a MAC...?

My brothers just got back, fine on both his Apple mobile and desktop machine ;)
  18. Re: Problems with website rendering on a MAC...?

Basiq, your site is very image intensive, with very large images. It would help if you reduced the size down somewhat and even consider ugrading so you could use WebP images.
  19. Re: Problems with website rendering on a MAC...?

Hi Basiq, I've looked at your site on both PC & iPad (very old) and bothe render fine. I'll try and get my brother who's an Apple fan to check as well.

I suspect it's your clients not refreshing...

Couldn't name one particular client but in my experience it was when dealing with a single individual who had complete control over the project, which allowed a one to one contact.
