I went the other way and went from Vista back to XP on my Dell laptop. Still have not ventured into Windows 7. Right now my machines are stable and rockin', and I'm not gonna rock the boat!
This is my first time back in a while. I'm not sure I've been away for any specific reason.
I still use X3, but purchased X5 to solve some of my importing issues. I think this error happens when PDFs are created in non-design programs, and DRAW isn't sure what to do with fonts that aren't...
Use two Dell 20" LCD monitors -- not the widescreen but the squarer screen. Run them at 1600 x 1200. Been fairly pleased with them.
I've tried using both and find VERY little difference in the quality of the images. I'd go with saving file size.
I would assume you could buy a USB 2 card for your computer if you have a slot? Most cards like this are pretty easy to install. And would likely increase your speed quite a bit.
That's a great list. Had me laughing :)
Yes, CA in particular is in pretty bad shape. But they were having significant financial difficulties prior to the recession.
That's funny. I bet this gets fixed rather quickly. A little surprised by this oversight.
Make sure you read their TOS. I can't imagine most services would allow this.
Yes, best option is to have them save back to earlier version of Illustrator. I've got X3 and have same issue with newer versions of AI and EPS files.
Just curious if there are many NFL fans around here. We're only a couple weeks away from camps. I'm tired of watching my Royals lose and ready to start watching my Chiefs lose :)
Anybody play...
Thunderbird using imap, though I do still have one pop account at work.
Also have a yahoo account I use sparingly.
We have two divisions of our company, each with it's own site. Plus a blog site separate from the two company sites.
Just tested mine and got: 20197 kbps down, and 738 kbps up.
Do you have any contacts with a local print shop? Just go in and chat with them. They're bound to have some ideas for you.
I used one for years when I was doing more photo editing work. Really liked it. Once you get used to right click functions I think it's quite a bit nicer than a mouse.
Congrats and yes please let us know when it comes out!
And now Karl Malden. Not a good couple weeks.
Make sure that when you pick a hosting company that you pick one with 24 hour phone support. Have gotten burned using a hosting company without phone support.
I just found this site the other day for the first time. Kind of fun!
A little off subject, but I love tabs in browsers.
A quick tip: Use folders in your bookmarks. You can group them however you want. Then FireFox has a command to "Open all in tabs".
Beautiful pics. I'm a bit of an amateur gardener AND photographer myself. Just moved into our new house about a year and a half ago. Previous owners had done virtually no landscaping, which in a way...
Can we put it to a vote? I vote for custom names!
Ross, you might be on the wrong forum :)
BTW - Nice name. My dad's name was Roswell and went by Ross.
