Not posted for some time, but check in most days to admire TG users' endless talents.
Having recently got married, my now wife bought me a Canon DSLR as a "Thank You" for giving her her dream...
Young Sir, you are a diamond!
I'll give that a whirl when I get a moment and let you know how I get on.
(Thanks for the overtype tip too).
Hi Masque,
The dpi does seema little high, yes. I'll probably not send it to him at that res.
My problem is that, as far as I can see, there is no option to export as a .pdf in X1. I know thi...
Hi All,
I've been tasked with creating new business stationery for my company and turned to my trusted Xara X1 to create it, which I have done to the bosses' liking.
The problem I have now is...
I'm normally confined to the flat discipline of 2D art, and not really up on the world of 3D art and modelling, so would appreciate some guidance from those in the know for a new project I'm...
No, you make sure you don't. It's just not good enough quite frankly! ;)
Probably not at this stage Mike. It was initially rendered fo use as a desktop wallpaper, and has subsequently changed angles to be used in the main banner on their site.
I'm sure it will end up...
No, not a collection of toy soldiers, but something I've been working on for a group of supporters of my local football (soccer) team who call themselves the "Red Blue Army".
They create a huge...
Hi mgcom,
The menu on the left still scrolls left and right, but I think it may be to do with the last line of text at the bottom which is too wide for the menu section of the window.

Thanks John (sorry, only just seen this post!) ;)
Another great drawing Bob! So much expression from so few lines, it really does make me jealous!!!!
I'm offering one right arm for your talent.
Interested?;)
Firstly, fantastic work Simon, very impressive indeed. I have to say however (there's always one isn't there?) that I think it works better without the gull.
In the initial image, the rock in the...

Thanks for the kind words Ww.
I actually have a guy printing the T-Shirts FOC for me for the event (and yes, I insisted they were white).
As to what technique he uses, I'm afraid I know not,...
I'm running a charity cricket event this weekend which is raising money for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, and I thought I'd put together a logo for the event, which will now feature on the T-Shirts...
Many happy returns!!
You don't look a day over 35! :D
That avatar would not have been allowed as it exceeds the maximum file size of 8kb.
The wording is a little confusing, but think of those as the maximums allowed.
It can be no bigger than...
Whilst I don't deny it looks a great program (and I shall be downloading the trial over the weekend), I think the developers are missing a trick.
If they are, as you very eloquently put Ross,...
Great work masque.
One thing though (sorry).
The collar on the gentleman's shirt seems to fold in on itself. The right collar tucks in his jumper, but the left collar seems to fold in, rather...
Sorry Gary, so was mine. I was pointing out my experience of Xara emails, and setting that off against SG's comments which you summarised down nicely (hence quoting you).
Replied, and I do now...
I'm signed up to the Xara mailing list, and I received two mails concerning Xara 3D6 (as I do with all the Xara offers).
One announcing the offer, and then a reminder about a week later that the...
I know it is http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
That's ok, don't mention it.
Hence the reason for posting it ...

Hi Nikki,
You need to choose File > Export.... rather than File > Save/Save As.
This will allow you to save the image as a .jpeg etc. for use on the web.
Of course, you should also use File...
