Yes I did that. But it's a pain to have to do every single time you open an image.
Strangely there seems to be a big that the images is imported at very NEARLY but not quite the exact number of...

P.S. Also another part of the problem is that I cant find a zoom %age then doesnt cause the image to 'ripple' if I set the pixels to "Never smooth".
To repeat, I have set my operating systems text...

Great - that nailed it. (I don't remember changing it previously but somehow it got set at "Resize large imported images down to 500 pixels"!)
