Let's say I'm making labels and I've drawn background guidelines and I've locked them.

Then, on layer #1, I add text.

Is it possible to center layer #1's text based upon the background...

I very new to Xara Designer Pro and I couldn't find anything on the subject when I searched the forum.

I've created some text in Xara and I can't get the color to match RBG #'s (8,51,202)....since...

My needs are quite simple (logos, letterhead, cards, photo for T-Shirts and the like)....nothing complicated.

I used to use CorelDraw but for some reason my spell check in my email program stopped...

How do I mark the thread "solved"?

Your suggestion did the trick....the file no longer opens and the last file I used opens the next time I open the software....thanks.

I did close the document and deleted the file from my computer but it re-created itself when I re-opened the program.

As a potential new user I found "all" of the suggestions helpful...

I did as you suggested but when I start XDP it now opens two files with the same name. One is now blank and the other is the "unwanted" file.

I've tried everything and no luck.

I'm currently waiting on a firewall software response on how to block a file from opening.

I've deleted the "unwanted" file on my computer but it keeps getting re-created.

If I "save as" it still opens the original unwanted file (creates a new copy).

Yes, I closed the "unwanted" file (no files are opened) and re-opened XDP....the "unwanted" file still gets opened.

If I add another file, the new file gets opened along with the "unwanted" file...

New to XDP and just installed the trial.

How can I eliminate the XXP_Introduction_Page.xar everytime I open the program?
