My wife and I are presently reading a book, The Silence by Don Delillo. The book is designed by a very trendy outfit in New York http://paulsahre.com/

The book which is very short is set entirely...

    Re: Selective publishing to site

I've been doing www.PlacitasArtists.com for our community for 20 years. Each artist's gallery is a separate folder, over 80 artists now. And each artist's gallery is one page, though recently I have...

Re: Opinion Of my new Logo for my website

I would lose the rectangle and just keep the leaf. Simple is better. Maybe add a drop shadow to pop the leaf off the page. And maybe use a real leaf. More taste appeal.

    Re: Well and Truly Skewed

Another orphaned or neglected feature. Once more for the record, if Xara just went feature by feature and made appropriate updates such as the one you have mentioned, it would be worth so much more...

Well currently there is 6 color printing (Hexachrome) which uses a special orange and green ink to widen the color spectrum. And another process 8 Color Dark/Light. In addition to CMYK, LC, and LM...
  18. Re: CMYK Previewing and accurate CMYK Profiles coming to Designer Pro+

At present there is only one export profile, which is industry standard (whatever that means). No I did not print the images.

But I have used Xara since 1996 to create color stereogram images for...
  19. Re: CMYK Previewing and accurate CMYK Profiles coming to Designer Pro+

This is very unscientific. I brought three colorful photos into each program and exported as Commercial Printing but with PDF/X-4 for the output method. I combined the two PDF files into one (in the...

Re: Web Exports do not reflect changes

    Two other things to check.

    1. Are you uploading the changes to the right folder on your web host's servers (usually something like /public_html/

    2. Do the files on your current site have an...
