Correct link, without closing square bracket:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speedbird

Re: Question Pro+ / cloud users, renewal

Bill, it's a bit convuluted but go to https://cloud.xara.com/ Log In / Then click the Profile icon top right. Mines a blue circle with an E inside. Then click your current team (Retiring here) then...
  8. Re: Convert a PNG background to transparent

    All the time ;))
  9. Re: The right page sizes for proper transistions

Things are getting very muddied here.
So we have two sites, Tims original which points to his top level domain is stated as being bad practice and I'd agree
The second is Gary's (Initiostar) draft...
  10. Re: The right page sizes for proper transistions

So Tims site as a draft is a nono. Garys draft is fine. Correct? ;-)
  11. Re: Convert a PNG background to transparent

    Ignore me ;-)
  12. Re: The right page sizes for proper transistions

I think I'm missing the point here. Gary's draft site resides at "https://initiostar.co.uk" under a subdirectory "/demo" with a further subdirectory "/TB/"

    Right or wrong?
  13. Re: The right page sizes for proper transistions

Agreed Paul. That's why I suggested an 'i' as that is a more universal symbol for information.

No, but I didn't expect it too. This is a draft site posted by Gary. Not even Tims site has...
  14. Re: The right page sizes for proper transistions

If I hit the explanation mark (I personally think this needs to be an 'i') the information pop-up's work on my iPhone Paul. It would possibly be better if if the pop-up's weren't set to automatically...

    Re: 3D illustrations...

Yes the second Amphipod Mecha image looks much more threatening Gameprinter.
  17. Re: The right page sizes for proper transistions

Tim, when you export your website you can name it index.html to load it to your hard-drive, rather than the default index.htm
Then if you go publish website to your hosts server it will upload as...

    Re: Seamless Tiling Background Challenge

Sorry Acorn, missed that post. I agree with what you're stating there, however I noticed the exported svg pixel sizes when opening in Inkscape. The cutting 'rectangle' within Xara states whole...
  20. Re: error: Xara connection to ftp host has been lost and could not be re established

Are you sure you're placing public_html in the subfolder section in Xara's other Web Host Settings? This is the normal root folder on most web servers these days.

When you create a variant you...

    Re: Seamless Tiling Background Challenge

Indeed you did Acorn. For this one I used png as I'm finding many issues with applying svg fills. The earlier magenta image used an SVG but I'm having BIG issues with sizing these svg's. They either...

No problem, just thought I'd point it out Gary as FF often messes up what works fine on other browsers ;-)

    Re: Seamless Tiling Background Challenge

Yes, the double sound effects are interesting Gary.

I find your first svgSea file very slow & buffery (Is that a word?) when opening in FF. Fine in Edge.
