Acrobat did the job but even with the Save Ink/Toner option it was very very slow.

OK. I opened a backup and the Guides layer is still there.

Saved and copied and pasted my palette of named colors, and voila! Now all named colors in my palette are there.

It's a hard one. But my experience with Designer Pro+ which is being developed by Xara and Designer Pro X marketed by Magix is that Xara is more current in updates and new features.

Indasoftware, the people who made the stereogram app I use had an app that could do this but also Yury is in Russia and his content has been blocked by the western world.

There is no reason for the html extension. The browser looks for an index file and if it finds one, index.htm or index.html it loads the page. The only difference here is index.html takes precedence...
