Mines a Reefer Jacket ;)
Cheers Gary/Acorn. Here's how that site opens on my iPhone6 in Portrait.
Thanks for the feedback HD & Chris. At least I know it renders on a mobile but the odd browser behaviour is beyond my control.
Can somone with a non steam driven mobile unlike mine please test the following to see if the .webp images are loading on more up to date mobile browsers and not offering to download them as it does...
I enjoy the occassional wind-up ;))
Unless it's Windows 10X HD ;)
Mike, your logic is spot on. I was unaware there were two placeholders, must have duplicated one along the way. Just delete the lower one.
@ Acorn - Understood.
Ah, thanks for the heads up.
Hi Mike, I think the problem lays with the publishing. If you publish with the Image layer non-visible the images within that layer aren't loaded into the index_html_files folder. If the layer is...
I'm going to have to buy a new hard drive to keep all these website goodies you keep coming up with Acorn =D>
Hi Bezad,
In Firefox I get this warning about that link. There are similar warnings in Edge & Chrome but not so explicit.
Here's the link to 'Learn More'
Fun challenge. Here's my idea. The leaf vector I've used before on my website and sent to Joe to use as he wants.
Unlike Gary I like the border as used by Joe, and find the one used by Acorn to...
Going on from Chris's example here's one using the video controls method he mentions.
Can't agree more with Acorn. Going back over the years when I was a moderator here on TG we had a very strict rule that we would not create gif's or .x3d files for posters as it was almost a daily...
Paul I don't think ET was trying to create a website 1920 wide, he just stated that if he used 'fit to width' the site looked clunky at 1920. I belive his intention is to expand his current main page...
You can set the maximum width in the 'Fit to Width'. Set it at 1440 and it wont expand any larger.
Excellent Acorn. Even I understood that. ;)
Thanks Chris. I'd already tried that and got:
I occasionally get this, sometimes even with .xar files! Usually drag / drop on the title bar loads it but not this time.
@Acorn I'm very easily...
Hi Lock,
Welcome to TalkGraphics. It's a long time since I've used Xara3D. Here's my attempt, hope it helps you. Also attached your logo as a transparent png image used as the texture.
Okay Acorn you've got me going again!!!
A little used Xara tool is the Xara Widget Generator that is created as a XWR file.
Can you explain the Xara Widget Editor further because I'm lost.
...
Hi Acorn, still can't follow you and get this to function:
I4PePoYItck?hd=1
I'm having problems following that Acorn. Any chance of a xar file?
@ HD Yes you can but you currently open a jpg and save it as a webp image.
Meanwhile here's a great online convertor:

Affinity Photo have announced they will be adding webp to their export filters in the next major release. Not there yet but another route to converting jpgs tp webp.
Come on Xara!

I agree LGF but there's nothing stopping to using them now if you have so many portfolio image websites.
