Your version of Xara is the equivalent of V8 & for the most part, a V9 Tutorial would still apply.
The main thing to note is most of the videos will have been done using the "Pro" version...

Just to follow up, once this Update is installed, you'll notice that it's now got a "v2" added to it's code number.
I'm running Xp-x64 & here's how it looks in my Control...

Just wanted to report that this "new" KB2753842 which is dated 20/12/12, now has all the Fonts displaying correctly.
