When I read it it sounded like I could open up a chat window...
I just got some marketing from Xara.
I don't quite recognise in the forums what it says, but it seems to me that it may be time to crack out the champagne..
With 10+ feature and content...
I don't know why, aren't there enough out there already?
It was the beginning of the end when Xara developed theirs.
It depends on what external libraries or fonts it may need to load (or not load).
Well, imagine I sent that to my mother and her iPad and said "look at my presentation?".
It's not about how clever you are but making a message accessible to the recipient without requiring any...
I'm not saying it's not possible, I'm just saying it's a clumsy solution. Ever had an iPad owner discussing folders? Probably the same on Android devices. We should never assume out target audience...
With a powerpoint file I just click to run it. That's not the case for a zip file.
I would NEVER supply a presentation to a client in this manner, or any audience.
If I was presenting myself...
If you send the website via email it will be a zip file or a collection of file attachments that you will have to copy somewhere or leave in a downloads folder. Then you have to locate the index file...
Email but no internet.. ..right.
Dropbox but no internet.. ..right
Everyone is going to be happy to install a website so they can see the presentation.. ..right. How do I see this on my iPad...
Asking users to install a website on their computer in order to view a presentation, must be one of the clumsiest ways to disseminate information.
Why not post the presentation to a subfolder on a website, then email a link. Far easier. It's what I do all the time with websites needing client approval before going live.
So it might be..

Wow, she is great!
Carry on doing what you're doing but take up art again.
I think retirement is a very odd concept that many cannot afford.
Do more of what you want to do.
I had two PIA clients last year and...
The comparison really only goes in that Vectornator is another vector based drawing app. It doesn't do website creation at all (good) and is a modern design across mac and mobile.
It's free (I...
Just to say that the @2X version is not something that has no value. On all of the devices that I use the @2X version will be used so I get a sharper image. Without it images can look poor. I often...
Nice!
My little joke was about his catchphrase.. .. to Affinity and Beyond!
SVG is the new GIF!
@Gameprinter I thought I'd suggest a correction, but really it's me that needs correction - good job.
Is it final? or can it be changed?
BTW, if anyone thinks my perspective is nonsense - please say so!
OK, first of all a disclaimer because I am a keyboard warrior not a marketing expert.
Wherever possible with anything to do with the internet I always imagine the perspective not of the client,...
I am not a fan of any of them.
I would use images from actual gigs.
I would have an immediate call to action at the very beginning - talking directly to the visitor
I would stop presenting...
Maybe it's the Buzz Lightyear effect?
I recently joined the Affinity Facebook group.
Wow is it busy. It very much has an enthusiastic vibe that is like talkgraphics used to be - about drawing stuff not websites. In an afternoon I've...
I read "Watchbird" and it was a great read.
It addresses a lot of concepts that we are really trying to come to grips with today - not about robotics, but how we treat animals, how we treat...
