Thanks Gare
Thanks, that will work.
When I replied yesterday half of what I wrote got lost. I said that I really liked your ideas and would it be possible to have .XAR file with the buttons.
Thanks
I wondered that myself - they stand for ''undo", ''reset to defaults'', ''read values'', ''save values'', I think something a bit less cryptic will be implemented.
Thanks again
OK currently the blue is gradient starting at #FF3AABF9 and ending with #FF4249F5. What would you like them changed to as this seems to be a hang up on answering my actual question. Also, here is the...
Yes, I agree, the blue is too dark and yes- changing colours is easy. I just hadn't bothered as I was working on getting the whole thing running.
Eric has implemented Steve's design of the presentation layer (See below). Note that we currently have 3 columns. The left column current value is the one that would be changeable. Startup value...
Not really, but its fun to do . I think we want to showcase the fact the "we "are designers.
I agree. If we want to allow a user to change colour, then the logo needs to match that scheme. I think we lock in the shape, but not the colour.
We are just fiddling with registry entries and the 64 bit still uses the registry. So, yes .
I really like your second one. especially the tabs and the idea of pictures in the help. I can see what Paul means about on/off vs a tick. As for internationalization, having the text following the...
From my investigation - the GUI should be designed by a graphic artist and I believe we can separate the code from the GUI enough that we can show several working prototypes. So, keep on discussing.
Well, I like it Gary. Not too dark. I really like the on/off buttons and the menu.
Yes I really like the on off buttons and the sliders. And I think the more relaxing colours.
Thanks Frank. Going against all our suggestions , I like this one

Keep the ideas coming=D>
I think it is still a work in progress. Eric is going to start "coding" the UI and will look at skinning.
Also, we have decided to use WPF Windows Presentation Foundation ), which will give us the ability to implement a rich interface. This means that it will not work on Windows XP. I trust this is OK...
Yes, keep the ideas coming. Eric is going to start making mockups for you to see.
Actually, as we will be warnig people that fiddling with the registry can have unforeseen consequences, it seems appropriate.;))
QUOTE=pauland;477466]Personally, as an observer, I really dislike the...
I really like this look and I think it is quite doable.
Ok, to clarify, we do no want you to stop playing - only be warned that it won't happen "soon". That being said there are a lot of elements in RIK's design that I think are useable on the first...
See inline
The actual coders decided that we would like to start with a basic design and get the functionality there. I actually like RIKs take better initially for the content. I would like to add a field for...
Just to elaborate on the coding part. We will be using C# in the .NET framework. Think of it as a big tool box. So, to create a form I tell C# make me a form and I get what looks like any other...
