Re: Anyone here use a Wacom cintiq alternative?

I'm curious. Of the tablet users here how many use other software in preference to Xara when using a tablet?

The reason I ask is that I don't see Xara as software that is naturally artistic in the...

Indeed, but that's unimportant compared to the idea that in 1623 they could make the map at all.

    Old map-making

Recently an old map was donated to a UK charity shop, it dates from the 17th Century. I am in awe at how good it is. I have no idea how they could have made it (even if California is shown as an...

    Re: The North East SPCA

Please look again at your site - the page length is far too long and the footers are half-way up the page with blank space below. I'd also like to make a suggestion about content - it would nice to...

    Re: BBS in a website

Why would any form of social interaction be different? Even talkgraphics requires moderators and that should have been the case on a closed FB group too.

I don't see how having a BBS will change...

All the best Egg - get back to 100% soon.

    ..I'm assuming the 5% isn't about a hangover?

I'm glad for your experience and peace.

I think most people can make their own choices about religion and find their own path to it (or not) without the message being pushed onto them. Preach to...

    Nice job Braden.

    You have a musical talent.

I'm glad you've found a spiritual home and hope your spiritual views don't close you from the outside world.

Re: any benefit being w3c compliant?

I ran the site through the W3C validator.

As far as I can see all of the errors are arising from your google tracker and facebook references - IE not generated by Xara.

    So fixing the errors is...

No swords here and I've put my cudgel somewhere and can't find it.

I think that if your non-paying client is happy there's no need for you to be stressed about it.

    The good thing is that...

Why not copy/take inspiration from some of the designs and knock this one up a level?

I don't know about w3c validation, but I did visit the site.

I think it needs some graphic design love. I think it needs some SEO love.

I did a google search for South Africa Paediatrician and...

Well "sucked off of Adobe brand"?

I don't agree. Serif launched the Affinity project as a new enterprise. They made an excellent product focussed on one speciality and were able to gain extra...

    Re: CSS export for animations.

LOL, I already made you one, but it would probably need to be made larger and scaled down.

Two of us have made HTML versions, but that needs some care to include in Xara.

    Re: Serif's Affinity

Well yes, but I think Gary swapped Affinity for Magix in the sentence.

You also have to consider the times have changed and none of us are as young as we were and that includes at Xara HQ. The...

    Re: Serif's Affinity

Umm, that confused me completely. Affinity has no enthusiasm or commitment, or did you mean Magix or Xara?

I know what you mean by the Corel licencing.

    Tumult Hype..

I would have masked the hammer, but didn't on this occasion. Sadly Hype doesn't output SVG and I no longer have an Adobe Animate licence.
