Actually if you look close at Stygg's attachment and think about Drwyd's response you will see it's something very famous!
Very nicely done Stygg.
Shrouded in mystery is very clever! :)
Here is my experiment, it worked quite well. What I did after creating my basic parchment paper was to import the clumpy noise tile and I adjusted the contrast and brightness a bit to give my stains...
I'm going to experiment with your clumpy noise Gary, I think it might be just dandy for using as a fill with the shape builder and a semi transparent stroke to actually paint on grungey stains. ...
Here's one more from me. I painted the flower using the shapebuilder then grouped it and gave it a simple circular transparency. Arranged on a pale lavender background.

That's really pretty I like the soft feathery look.
That jigsaw puzzle sounds interesting.
One use for seamless tiles is digital scrapbooking Digi-scrappers call them papers but really they are just seamless tiles. I put together this seamless...
Both of those are really nice, that top one looks like it took a lot of patience as well as time!
I like the tea time one, it reminds me of Wedgwood Jasperware.
Edit: In fact the jasperware idea inspired this :) I used the Celebrated Burgeon Ornaments TG font with some bevels to put together...

This tile took a lot of fiddling to get...
That auto tiler is very interesting I'm going to have a play with it later, Thanks Phil
Here is another one, this time I used bits and pieces of my Rhododenrons drawing and tried to artfully arrange them. I have also included the .xar file for the Daisies tile.89684

Here is another one from me. I used two plugins for this one, first I added noise to my background with Xara's add noise filter and I used Eye Candy 6 Chrome for the gold spirals.
I found that...
I just had to do a flowery tile :D
Hey Gary maybe we could do a collaborative tile collection, is that what you meant? You are welcome to use anything I post in this thread :)

Sorry Bob I have no idea why I called you Larry :o My brain is rather scattered today!
Larry: Try experimenting with the profile sliders on the fractal plasma fill to reduce the blur and maybe your toppings won't float.
Ok here is a tile from me I feel like playing with greens...
