i simply Cannot get such a simple thing to work in Xara web designer...i have 6 and i'm trialing 7 currently but cannot fathom out how such a supposedly simple task is so...

also be aware that amazon has a new file format based on HTML5 for the new colour kindle Fire and probably will also update it's pc/mobile phone/tables free readers to support this soon also

never had any issues with centring a site in any browser when using xara webdesigner
