Good luck don. There are many great programs out there. I dont think ive heard of any of the ones you mention!

main problem I find is people dont scroll down. they just start clicking the menu buttons so having any info on your fancy homepage becomes irrelevant.

Serif is great once you get your head around the way it wants you to do things. Xara is just more intuitive I think.

When I bought Xara I bought Serif at the same time. I can't get away with serif at all, it's really not very user friendly in my opinion. Xara blows it out of the water.

you set the page name on the page properties. set the file name as you have been.
