InDesign have native support in Photoshop and Illustrator :)
Quark doesn't have, and this is change.
Only support for export curves/shapes as quark format! :)

More power for same operations: large files, live effects, etc.

Adobe include this technology in Photoshop (in new versions).
I am not specialist but I think this technology have a big potential.

This is only suggestion.
Xara Designer is my primary and favorite graphic tool.
I use too: QuarkXPress8.5, old Photoshop7, CorelDrawX3, TypeTool3, Inkscape (and other small tools).
I always buy...

But addition of choice is not a big problem for Xara?
Let the user can decide!
Now is click and ... file.

Why for PDF is choice, not only latest Adobe...

add options for export to AI/EPS (choice version AI)

add Quark format for export, ONLY SHAPES, (there is no program...

I add PDFs for test:
forQ.pdf - flat fill - import to Quark OK
forQimg.pdf - img fill - import to Quark OK
forQblend.pdf - gradient fill - NOT OK

All fomats PDF have same problem.

InDesign no problem I know :) Only Quark (I have 7.3 and new 8.5), but this is Xaras "bug" ...

I sent to printer "clean" files - no line, shape + 5mm bleed*for*cuting mould.

These are two different projects, the client chose the second :)
I always make two or tree sketches to choose.
