  1. Re: Any compelling reason to keep renewing Pro X annual licence??

Thanks Acorn. I have upgraded. I'm now anxious to dig in and learn ... then to 'do'.

    howdy folks

First – I'm getting back into this after a couple years of absence. I'm considering upgrading my Designer Pro X11 to the current version. Currently I have Designer installed on my...

    photo manipulation :: horizontal alignment

My dad sent me a JPG the other day that owns a misaligned batch of text. I'd like to somehow tweak the JPG file to make all of the lines of text very strictly horizontal. Anyone have ideas as to how?...

    Re: Problem closing a shape

Thanks for the input. I think that I might have done a "Join" at one point. Executing a "Break," I see that I actually have three lines. I'll see what I can to to make them a single line ... then I...

    Re: Problem closing a shape

Is there a "best" way to find out where the line(s) may be broken into to (where the controlling node points might be)? I can't seem to locate where they are (apparently you can). Thanks a bunch!

    Problem closing a shape

Haven't been around for awhile, but always enjoy hookin' back in and checkin' up on new ideas.

I've become a bit rusty on Xara Designer, I suppose, and was hoping that someone might chime in and...

Re: Bought a new Panasonic Lumix FZ60

Me too! Through my 20s & 30s I owned a couple of Olympus OM1 camera bodies and an array of Zuiko lenses. I sold them all about 10 years ago. This is my next serious dive into photography (digital,...

Bought a new Panasonic Lumix FZ60

After doing a reasonable amount of research I've just purchased and currently have a new Lumix FZ60 point n' shoot camera. I'm really looking forward to running it through the paces!

Re: Want to change standard Xara navbar behavior

I was dreading having to apply the NoAutoHighLight name to all the MouseOff and MouseOver objects (on every page). As it turns out, they can all be conveniently group-named.

    navigate to a page...

Re: Want to change standard Xara navbar behavior

The MouseDown option doesn't allow the type of visual feedback that I want. It looks like the only way to get what I want is to follow Steve's method from post #8 in this thread. Thanks again for all...

Re: Want to change standard Xara navbar behavior

    Nice navigation system, Béret.

Before Xara introduced navigation bars as objects that are controlled with a pop-up dialog, one had to create a multitude of layers and companion pop-up layers. In...

Re: Want to change standard Xara navbar behavior

In order to use a mousedown state/layer one couldn't use a Xara navigation bar object. As far as I can tell, navbar elements only use mouseoff and mouseover layers.

Re: Want to change standard Xara navbar behavior

Thanks a bunch, guys. It's a shame that Xara doesn't provide the option to apply the NoAutoHighlight to the full navbar (within the Edit Navigation Bar dialog).

Want to change standard Xara navbar behavior
