    As at v23.7, the Move backwards (Shift+Ctrl+B) is still acting as a Put to Back (Ctrl+B) when there are just three objects involved.
    @Xara - another JavaScript counting FAIL?

    handrawn, I had thought of and tried that but you need to keep an eye on the direction of required travel so the cadence would be either Up-Down-Up or Down-Up-Down.

    Michael, we have previously discussed the merits. or opposite, of a Subscription product but to damn v20 Perpetual as well for a small Bug is nugatory.

    Fly, I can confirm this Bug.

    Create two shapes, one over the other. Add a third.
    Select the first two and Bring to Front and Put to Back repeatedly - the stack order alternates.
