    Re: Frieze Designing Challenge

Thanks Acorn. I absolutely approve of your reworking of file. :D I thought twice when posting it thinking I could get away with my shoddy draughtsmanship by calling an 'idea' ;).

    Meanwhile, I'm...

No! :D I'm flummoxed how you did that! Have you inserted a Font Awesome symbol as text into each blob? ;)

    Here's another idea from me.

Re: How many XWD users ?

This question has come up before. I think for me, part of the problem might be the forum name ĎTalkGraphicsí. New users might not realise itís for them as it sounds like a general graphics forum, not...

    Re: shifting sands

I really must get down to that part of the coast when things settle down. I remember studying LSD (longshore drift) at school. I grew up by the sea (dan south) and often long for the smell and sound...

Re: So What Do You Think About This New Logo?

That was a tough brief but I think you’ve done an excellent job.

I also think the only issue for me is the caterpillar. When looking my eye was drawn straight to it and didn’t initially...

Well spotted, it is Brid. We went for a walk on the beach last Sunday but it was quite blowy, so retreated to this cafe in the town. Two good honest mugs of builders tea, two pound!

Talking of Adobe, I think they're giving students free home access to their schools Creative Cloud license and businesses 90 days grace for renewing, not such a grand gesture, but at least it's...

Re: how to add leadining to text with XDP16

I really don't like the 'fall back' installation issue either.

  22. Re: Update to the update service notification on startup

Re: Hi and a couple of questions

Hi, as Acorn said in post #3, you can tweak the smoothing of shape by selecting the shape, then using the shape tool, select all (or just some) of the nodes and adjust the smoothing using the slider...
