  1. Re: Why is the Gear-Config Icon Challenge now a Closed Thread?

I have no idea why it was closed and who closed it.
    Very strange.
    But, I have re-opened it.

Please step forward, whoever closed it?!

    Re: Gear-Config Icon Challenge

egg: That's similar to my method. Except that I used one shape that goes from top to bottom.
Then cloned it and rotated it 45 degrees.

    Re: Gear-Config Icon Challenge

I had to draw the icon for work and wondered if there was a better/easier way of drawing it?
As usual, there are different ways.
And it seems that Affinity have the challenge totally nailed!

    Re: Gear-Config Icon Challenge

Some very good ideas there, guys.

    egg: To be continued...!

Acorn: I didn't want to do any tracing. To me, that wouldn't be accurate. If I understood what you mean?

    siran: That method looks...

    Looks pretty decent, egg.

    Gear-Config Icon Challenge

How would you draw this icon, Accurately?
    The emphasis is on accuracy.

You can see that the corners are rounded and there is roundness to the teeth.

I'd love to see what method you use?

    Re: Scribble August 2019

As there were fins on the Rocket, I thought a fin would also work on a Dolphin.
So, the scribble is in the Pectoral Fin.
I did think about using it for the Dorsal Fin as well, but, there's a...

    Thanks very much, Jono.

    And I love your creature.
I can only call it a creature, because, you've not said what it is.
Looking at what you said, might it be a 'Headworm'?!

The scribble is in the straight part of the handle, and then the curved part starts to form the rest of the bat.

    Hi Steve,

….options\CheckAssociations is the only thing I made changes to.

I reasonably confident with the registry, even though I may not know where all the options are.

If we're talking the same language, Steve?
