Reading thoroughly at 5:00 in the afternoon, yes. But at 8:30 this morning, whilst shovelling Rice Bubbles and banana in my face, I thought I was simplifying.
  4. Re: What is the best way to make just a specific area(s) of a graphic a clickable lin

Create rectangles to cover the areas you want clickable.
    Make the rectangles links.

    Re: Version 23.7 Blocks

I couldn't agree more. I've been struggling to find a way to express exactly that.

This whole exercise was to see how close reality came to the marketing. I was slightly surprised. With more...

    Re: Version 23.7 Blocks

It hasn't entered my head to group Blocks together, I can get images to disappear quite easily, and they don't always reappear by double-clicking the Scale Within Frame control. It may be...

50 odd posts ago, I wrote about my first attempt at making a small site that incorporated both Flexible Blocks and Freestyle Blocks. I used the blank, transparent Blocks from...

    Re: Version 23.7 Blocks

Emptying the Block is the trick. I can easily resize once the content is removed. I didn't make that connection. I tried, on many numerous occasions, to adjust with the content in place. Once I...

    Re: Version 23.7 Blocks

Whipping through the second page. No real problems, just a few observations:
I started with the Mobile Variant. The page is literally text area followed by image, repeat. So I made each section a...

The confusion 1 about the main variant being involved was your first line. "Sadly, needed on both Main and Variant." I see what you meant now...it can happen on BOTH, as opposed to need to apply the...

    Re: Version 23.7 Blocks

I'm missing something, probably something small, but vital.

I did all the bullet points above.
Confusion 1: why does altering the main variant to Left Justify have any bearing on this? ...

    Re: Version 23.7 Blocks

That's exactly the same as I'm experiencing. You can make the object sit properly by using Justify Left in the Horizontal Alignment option. But the FlexBlock remains the incorrect size, and you may...

    Re: Version 23.7 Blocks

With this firmly in mind, and with the knee scrapes from falling off the Blocks bike to remind me, I shall rebuild the first site I did. I'm pretty sure the 23.8 update cured the images running off...

    Re: Version 23.7 Blocks

I'm becoming more confident, and with that confidence comes clarity.

I rebuilt the above page from scratch. Yes, I copied the layout, so I was much quicker, but I wasn't bringing any problems from...
