Wrong place my friend. Close the OCC and go back to the main Xara Window.
Far right is the Page and Layer Gallery. At the top right of that, you should see a small folder icon. Hover over the icon...
@Egg, I agree that when using a slider for comparing one image to another, effects like bounce wouldn't be a good choice. Linear and fade are the only two viable options I can think of. The examples...
I found lots of ways to break it and a few ways to adjust the speed of the slider controls, which I promptly reset.
I moved the 'Website Head' code to the 'Page Head' as that makes more sense to...
You guys are so quick. I'm still 'ooh, if I change 0% to 100% the transition goes vertical.' Not even thought about variants.
I agree that Acorn's solution is much, much smaller, making it easier...
Egg, I doff my cap to you, sir.

I'm sorry you spent more time than you should have on it. Hopefully, you did a little jig and shouted 'Hell yeah' before remembering you aren't 12 anymore....
I've just installed on a spare PC. TrueUpdateClient.exe does indeed exist in the folder - C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Designer Pro+
It isn't hidden, so I can only presume your AV has eaten it.
If you still have problems after updating to the latest version, try renaming the folder 'Online' to something like OnlineOLD.
You can find the folder at - C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Designer Pro...
This catches me out on a regular basis.
Edit the text to how you like it, then use the Style drop down menu to 'Update Style In This Variant', or create a new style and update in the variant.

And the penny dropped right off the edge and into oblivion.
Egg made one that works well, but doesn't have a 'click and drag' feature. I tried to work out what bit goes where and ended up drinking...
Got it. The penny dropped.
Yes, I'm sure this has been explained before more than once. It's one of those things that just doesn't stick. Probably because I don't understand how it actually...
So...
HTML - Placeholder Body
CSS - Head (Placeholder, Page or Website?)
Last - Don't understand this bit at all. Not unusual though.
This is one of those things that won't stay in it's allocated memory slot. This time I'm going to write it and then forget where I wrote it instead.
Using a placeholder to create a comparison...
Guessing, as I've never used the OG tag.
Does the graphic, the Star of David I presume, need to be on the page? If you move it off page, like a favicon, does it work then?
Using a text area, as opposed to text line, I can make the text squish by pressing the 'Alt' key and dragging. Smart transform is on. XDP and WDP 19.
If we're talking websites, then Acorn's right. Several choices under the reveal options. The request was in the Graphics section, so I presumed static.
Select your text and Utilities > Web...
My 'spin' on things.
#3 was supposed to have the movement/speed lines you see in comics, but I'm obviously not a cartoonist.

Using Snip & Sketch (winkey Shift S) I selected 'Window' and pasted into Xara with no editing at all. Standard 1920 x 1080 monitor.
It captured 1920 x 1040 (height minus taskbar) at 96dpi.

My Edge also updated, but I still have the error when replying. Firefox is fine.

Anyone else receiving a Security Token Error when posting using Edge, or it just me?
Genuine question. Why not use the Windows built in offering?
Winkey+Shift+S gives you simple options, rectangle, freeform, Window and Full Screen. It copies your choice directly to the...
Jack of one trade, master of none.
The path my mind went before I got hungry and stopped for a sandwich.

It looks like you're making a stereogram. Would you like help?
I shall now bow out and await either an Acorn brainwave, or your .xar/.web file.
