You can clone the red text and the resulting jpg export will be much better. I have to do the same procedure with white text also.

It looks like chainfire's problem is being caused by a cigar 2 line profile. I took the mould off of the text and rectangle and made the line profile normal(constant). The mould tool then worked...

If you don't mind having curved corners, create your rectangle with the Rectangle Tool and give the corners a Curvature of .05. This works well for most Brushes. A little fine...
