I use the lasso to go around the object but that leaves a 2mm space where the background shows...

Thanks GJ I have it now, I did not realise I couls create a plugin folder myself.

The plugins are installed BUT when used they do not create a rounded corner

the app must be faulty as it is...

Did what you said and the path was.
User/Me/my documents/my psp files/ and no plugin folder in the list of 24 sub folders?
I had Brushs Gradients Masks Pallets Picture Tubes and a heap of other...
