What to do is add the code as CSS? and that give a class name to each shape requiring the fancy shadows.

Good to see someone else with the same ideas. You can actually stack box shadows for very delicate shadowing.

As far as i know, the application uses the first Variant, default Main, as its basis for following Variants.

dutchim, for reference, there is a toggle between the current Tool and the Select Tool --> Alt+S.

To display the angle of skew or rotation of a Shape or new Group: 123680.
File shows rotation and horizontal skew. I was lazy and didn't add the vertical skew!

Allowing rotated text to be CSS-transformed. Xara renders such as bitmaps that are so clumsy.
For example, I use a htmlclass="FlipH" and a style: "transform: scale(-1, 1);" to achieve this.
