I think the link to the Colossal article which is here https://www.thisiscolossal.com/2018/...cts-by-odeith/
And here is one of the images (all done with cans of spray paint!)
While there is tremendous dimension and depth to this image it is painted flat on the wall.
Have a look at some of Stefan Pabst's artwork on youtube. The man is a genius. I have no idea how he can see what he draws. Especially look at the glass of water ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgzTWKwH7ak
Yes, I watched that a couple of days ago. Absolutely stunning! Green with envy!
thanks Gary :)
Keith that glass video is excellent, so clever - and it reafirms my long standing descision to stick to cartooning ;))
Hmm. I don't see a skull. I see a compressed image of possibly 2 women. With today's graphic distortion features, cannot such an image be "unfolded" to better display it's original?
well as I understand it the skull is looking straight at you.... ;)

Well you guys certainly got my interest in the technique. Thanks Gary and Egg.
quite impressive to see the actual Holbein and the effect coming to life when you look at the painting in a certain way - mortality hiding in plain veiw and then suddenly, jumping out at you :D
