Here's something a little more.....
John when you were making this, I bet you wished that Xara had a tool for placing dogs on a circle.
Sledger, that is beautifully done, something in preparation for Valentine's Day, perhaps?
My wife came home from work this morning with a "flyer" advertising a local bullfight, (I have a friend who collects them)
and it inspired me to do this. An apt choice of font, too.
Saludos,
Bob.
Bob: missed your dogs before (wondered what the reference to the clip-art meant - you must have been editing) .... neat :) And your military fly!
Steve: I particularly like the wattage on the bulb :)
John
PS Bob: I did do dogs/park in Xara .... am i being slow again? Today just wont kick-start!
John, your wattage must be a bit low today.:)
If you create some text and a circle in Xara, you can go up to
the Arrange menu and choose fit text to curve...if only it were
possible with dogs.
The "military" fly is wearing a matador's hat, (montera torera),
made down the road from us in Seville
(about 4 hour's drive down the road). I believe the military version isn't wooly,
but shiny. Not been up close to one, but may be made from patent leather.
I thought the reference to the matador font may have given the game away. :D
This next one was made from previous postings cobbled together.
a) Oh real dogs! Mine were/are a brush - which is probably what confused me.
b) I thought they wore berets - matadors, not dogs.
Apologies, but that grinding you can hear are the gears in my head not quite engaging. Tomorrow is another day.
Nice hearts :)

Inspired by useful tip from MarkMyWords, here.
Lines filled with texture.
Saludos,
Bob.
Ha! :D Useful tip too.
I'm glad there's no-one like this on TG :)
John
It must be because Valentine's day is just around the corner.
Very effective, red on black, I like it.
Nothing ever goes to waste in my Xara folder, it all gets
recycled. I posted the whole rugby poster here back in
November '07 and knew it would work with Xara's clipart.
Saludos,
Bob.
I bet you get this one :p Who said that about the pun being the lowest form of wit!?
