Question about Adobe PDF files

Hi There,

I am doing a lot of production work and am trying to put a "Serial number" if you will outside of the bleed and crop mark area in an exported pdf from Illustrator.

Essentially, I want to change the page information that you can check off under printer marks in the PDF export dialogue. Currently it has the file name, date and time etc. Since I am working with multiple artboards/pages in illustrator, I want them all to have a unique number on each page.

Does that make sense?

Makes perfect sense. In order to do this, you need to increase the size of the artboards, place cropmarks manually, add any wanted/necessary info and generate the PDF.
