I really like this month's line, Larry. I flipped two and got a pleasing shape, so it was just a question of coming up with something creative-ish.
I am sure I have seen this style of clock surround made of wrought iron hung on chimney breasts.

That's cool Bob. :cool: I like that the overall design suggests a square. It would be interesting as a design on a repeating tile...

I love the tiling, Ross. I won't quit the day job, though. I'm retired anyway.
My wife was watching me make the design (she's my biggest fan) and she's the artist and I'm not.
She said that if I made a slight alteration, I would end up with a daisy tile. Depending on the position of the smaller points.
It took me a while to figure out what she meant, but after she explained it in words of one syllable, I was astonished at how simple it was.
I attach the two versions - the red one is a 12 petal daisy and the green on is a four petal daisy!
