Changing width of graphic changes the X position.
I've noticed that changing a graphic's width (that's the width of the page) changes the X position slightly. E.g a rectangle 760px wide at 0 x-pos, when changed to 758px by the toolbar at the top, changes the X position from 0 to 1. Is it supposed to do this?
Re: Changing width of graphic changes the X position.
Hmmm...I never noticed that. It also happens in Xtreme Pro 4.0, the same code in both applications.
The shape appears to resize so the center remains in place. The position in the info bar is relative to the top left corner.
Re: Changing width of graphic changes the X position.
Is there a way to lock the top-left so it resizes from there?

Not that I know of...I wasn't aware of this until now. ;)
The Xara staff have been online a lot today and will be again tomorrow. They will see this thread and comment at that time. very late their timezone now.

Re: Changing width of graphic changes the X position.
You can do it in Xtreme, but not in WD. There's an anchor point selector in xtreme as shown below. In WD it's always set to center.

While there is no anchor point selector control on the info bar, the anchor point can still be seen and moved if you click on the selected object again to get the rotation handles. Drag the little crosshair that appears to the top left of the object before entering the new size.
