Install new 365 designer on top of the two I already have on my computer or not?

I now have Designer pro x10 installed on my computer as well as an earlier version. X10 often pops up messages like "can't write to your hard drive" then proceeds to write anyway. I depend on the older version to do things that X10 refuses to do when it gets cranky.
Should I delete both of them when the new DVD arrives?

You can have multiple versions on your computer and they will work fine with one another.

What I find is some times I have a Photoshop compatible filter in an older version that I have forgotten to copy and past into the new version.
