font awesome

Someone inquired a few days ago about font-awesome not working, I seem to be having the same or similar problem with no icons just rectangles. Was the ops problem solved if so how?
I have been searching and trying to figure this problem out. Does anyone know or have a similar problem?

Same here in XDP 15.1

No problem on my end with XDP 17

I should add, no issues with FontAwesome in Affinity or Word.
