Removing a Background from an image
I need help. I am trying to remove a background from an image. The problem is this, the item is an oval shaped logo. I want to be able to just save the logo with no background. The background is the square white part of the image. Can anyone guide me in the right track on this one?:(

Draw an ellipse exactly matching the shape of your logo and place it exactly on top of your logo.
Select your image+the new ellipse and press ctrl+4
You will now have two images - the logo and the background.

You can create a powerclip and mask out what you don't want or take it into PhotoPaint and delete pixels wherever you need.

Oops! Sorry, Sally - never realised when I posted this was the Corel forum.
Silly me, slap my wrist and go stand in the corner ...

Slap your wrist? You are welcome to post here anytime. I'd have to visit England to take you up on that.
