I tried exporting my original animated xar file as an animated. gif, as a swf (but my xar file contains feathering which Flash can't handle in Xara) so I didn't bother. I could overcome this feathering effect but it would be far to time consuming. I then exported it as an avi file which worked but the file size was huge. I tried online avi to mp4 convertors but these never worked.
