buttons don't work

Hello! Can you tell me why the buttons won't work on the index page? I don't see anything in front of them. They're on the top layer, and the buttons below work.

I couldn't get the upload in this forum to work, so here's a link to the file in my googledrive.

One more thing. I forgot to say that it's just the top row of buttons on the index page that don't seem to work.

All the top level links have "(No URL set)" other than the Contact Us page.

All the More buttons work here.

The slideshow doesn't though.

Yes, the slide show wouldn't. hmmm. Maybe I wasn't holding my tongue right when I clicked on the top row more buttons. Thanks for your input.
