Re: My 3rd Toonicorn comic!
Clearly, Sir Blathersham will have to change his hunting tactics (although I doubt he'll ever succeed in laying his hands on the prized horn)!
Thanks for the great colorful fun!
Re: My 3rd Toonicorn comic!
Well done! Thanks for sharing. I'm inspired to think up of my own cartoon character... hmm... (ouch! thinking hurts)

Re: My 3rd Toonicorn comic!
Toonicorn,
When you said you render it in Xara could you explain what you meant by that. I am just trying to understand how you are using Xara and Photoshop to develop and produce your comic.
Thanks,
Ray
Re: My 3rd Toonicorn comic!
TC it's great to see how you are developing this style... :)
@RKissane inking [render] in xara, flood fill [bucket] colour in PS, I would imagine... that's based on the previous....
Re: My 3rd Toonicorn comic!
Correct, handrawn. All the line work and lettering was via Xara, while Photoshop was used for coloring and clean-up. I haven't yet upgraded to the version of Xara with the lasso...can you tell me, is it as good as (or hopefully, better than) Photoshop's? The reason I don't use Xara for coloring is because its bucket tool just fills everything - apparently my lines are never closed up enough to prevent this. Pretty frustrating!
