Precise alignment - text columns

Hi

For good-looking web pages we are supposed to try to align everything on the page accurately, and make sure as many items as possible are made in whole units, and aligned to whole units on the grid. That can be done easily for graphics. But without affecting the text inside, I can't see any way to precisely drag out or align a text column. The measurements are never in whole units no matter how carefully I drag.

I wish we could have a box in the Web settings allowing a choice between:

"Use precise measurements"
"Use whole units".

It would be good to be able to work in whole units for web design.

There are a few things you can do.

In Page Options make sure that both documents settings are checked (see attachment). And you can select your text and modify the position of the text area so the text is in exact pixel amounts.
