I rarely print things out nowadays but thanks for the idea. Being based on vectors it should scale up ok.

Hi Jono, I've been messing about with tessellating recently too. Works well on bitmap fills but I'm having issues trying to use svg fills. I keep getting thin borders. Here's a bitmap fill one that works fine.

You can get some interesting results if you clone then rotate the fill 90 degrees then apply a 50%ish colour dodge transparency. I attach the repeating tile.

You can also create triangular tessillations. This one is the same purple shape over drawn in three different ways and rotated 60 degrees at a time.
