I posted this explanation on our Facebook page along with the image.
It's interesting to me to read the responses. Some people see the image for exactly what it is. Others describe everything they see but I wonder if the see the whole picture or just the parts.

Wow, that's an elaborate construct you created! Looking simple at first but then revealing all this depth. Beautiful.

Incredible art! If I look slightly off the centre of the twisted Yin-Yang the two holes in the 'fins' turn into balls! Looking straight at the holes they are holes but they dazzle. Hope that makes sense :rolleyes: . I can only guess how complicated the depth map must be. Very cool.

The fill for each half was a blend along a curve of two rectangles. The two blends created the twist.
