No idea what this is, it just evolved ;)
I don't know either Egg. Looks Christian but you get an A anyway for original thinking :)

I like it ernie!
I do hope this subject matter isn't considered in any way as provocative. It was all just part of my thought process. I was in the middle of designing a font, which used just a few simple shapes for each character. I was working on a lower case šiš but was having trouble making it recognizable as such just using one shape (see the red object on the right).
Then along comes the September Scribble and I used it to make the poster design on the left. I chose a font FF Dirty SevenTwo for the text on the right. To match the font style I took the Xara vector into Illustrator to use the roughen tool* to give the design an overall homogeneous feel. The burqa just sort of happened.
*Please can we have a Roughen Tool in Xara?
Illustrator's Roughen Tool allows distortion of any vector object.
It's a bit like Xara's Warp Tool on steroids. Or The Deformation Filters in Xara's Photo Tool Tool.
Thanks
I really like that roughen tool idea. Often my vector shapes are to clean & crisp and such a tool would work a treat.
That's exactly right, Egg. The current tools that might do the trick in Xara are not precise enough, and do not produce a vector result.
The Roughen tool in Illustrator has been a feature since the CS6 iteration (2012 - gosh, how time flies), and has proved to be very useful.
CorelDraw too has had a roughen brush tool for some time.
Thanks, Larry! This is all scribble.
Love it Penny.
That's Great
Thank you for an outstanding reply to this month's challenge.
Time flies neven faster than I thought!
Thanks for nice comments, it was fun to do.
