Bill Taylor (soquili) has come up with a timely Guest Tutorial for creating your own reusable template in Web Designer. (The same steps can also be used in the newer versions of Xtreme).

Covered are:

• Creating a NavBar
• Creating custom colors
• Adding new pages
• A gallery of popup images
• And more

A big round of Kudos for Bill.

When looking through the tut, it is hard to read, very small font, and the links do not work that are in the tutorial itself. The complete template page is only the header and buttons, also the link to the web template does not open. :(

The links in page 5 of the tutorial to the online example work and also the link to download a zip file containing the .web file also work.

I just verified that the links work in IE8 and FireFox3.

The links on the link to the complete template as a functioning web site works and the links on the navbar work to link to the other pages of the site.

What browser and version are you using?

I formatted Bill's tutorial and all the links worked for me.

I have noticed that the text looks smaller in Firefox than it does in Internet Explorer. Not sure why that is.

What I do notice is that all the text appears to be center aligned which is not what I had in mind. :mad:

Please stand by while I make some adjustments.
