Well worth repeating myself from the Designer Pro forum. ;))
One thing I did a little differently was rather than draw the blue shapes, I selected the two green shapes and Add Shapes. There was no need to delete the two underlying shapes as they were now one shape. :D

Bill - I found when I tried to add shapes on those that for me there was still an outline between the two shapes which is why I added the green shapes.

After posting it did occur to me that I was very lucky that the shapes had aligned so the add shapes worked. ;)

One question, how did you do the 3D Bump with the sand?

Pretty much the same way. And then I applied a little Stained Glass transparency. I backed the transparency off (increased the percentage) until the texture was just barely visible.
