Sometimes when moving the end points of a labelled line, the text can end up reversed or upside down. Would it be possible to add a feature where you can flip horizontally and/or vertically the text on a labelled line after creation?

Not sure what you mean by labeled line. Are you referring to Text on a Curve?
There is an option to Reverse Text on a Curve. Is this what you are suggesting?
I have battered at he new Smart labeled lines and have been unable to force a flip.
If you do manage, you can always use the Flip horizontally/vertically icons as these lines are symmetrical.

Ah, it comes back to me. The new lines in the content catalog.
Never mind.
Yes, I already tried that and it does work. However the end point attributes can be different. If, for example, you have an arrow as one end and a small circle at the other and then do the flip hor/vert, then the end points also swap. You would have to change the end point attributes back to what they were before.
On a labelled line, if you hold shift while adjusting an end point graphic (by dragging the green dot near the end point), the other end point graphic does not change.
Now, if you move an end point so that the end points are flipped horizontally, the text will end up upside down, or even reversed. It would good to either be able to flip just the text, or to be able to select an option where all text on labelled lines remains the correct way up (and not reversed) in relation to the page.
Promidi, thank you for explaining. The lines & text are currently being rotated as a single unit. They behave exactly as text columns and areas. Unless you ask Xara for a feature request so they are reworked to always aligned text horizontally or have they text gimbol around under another control, you are stuck with it.
For fun, here is a degenerate behaviour for a Smart Labeled line: Attachment 123595.
Drag out the top or bottom line using the Black select bound handles. The line should revert to being Smart. Now drag it to the original length.
Now how did I do that?
